This medicine is used to treat steroid-responsive inflammation of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva (conjunctivitis), cornea and anterior segment of the globe (eye redness, swelling, pain, etc.)

How it works
Flometh 0.25% Eye Drops 5 ml works by reducing the formation of certain substances in the body that are responsible for causing swelling and pain.

When not to use

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to [post_tior any other inactive ingredients present along with it.
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from active viral diseases of the eyes including epithelial herpes simplex keratitis (dendritic keratitis), vaccinia, and varicella due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from a mycobacterial or fungal infection of the eyes and surrounding structures due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Precautions
Before using fluorometholone, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: eye infections, recent eye surgery, cataracts, glaucoma (open-angle type), severe nearsightedness (myopia), diabetes.


Pregnancy
This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before using this medicine.

Breast-feeding
This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before using this medicine. Your doctor may prescribe a safer alternative based on your clinical condition. If the medicine is used, monitor the infant closely for any adverse effects.
