Revomet Gel 1% 40gm
This medication is indicated in the treatment of inflammatory papules (small solid rounded bumps on the skin) and pustules (it is a type of pimple containing yellowish pus) of rosacea chronic facial condition characterized by acne and redness.
The patient taking this medication may experience local irritation, pruritus (localized or generalized itching), metallic taste, nausea and numbness of the extremities.
This medication is contraindicated in patients with blood disorders.
- How many times do I have to apply Revomet gel daily?
In adults, this gel must be applied twice daily.
- How to apply Revomet gel?
Apply and rub in a thin film of the topical gel, cream, or lotion twice daily, morning and evening, to the affected area after washing.
- Can I use moisturizer with Revomet gel?
You can use cosmetics or make-up products while using this medicine, however they should only be put on after you have used Revomet gel.
- What if I miss the dose of Revomet gel?
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, then only use that dose. Do not use double or extra doses.
- Does Revomet gel cause skin irritation?
Stinging, burning, irritation, dryness and redness of the skin may occur as side effects. But if any of these effects persist or worsen seek a healthcare provider promptly.
The patient using this medication must wash their hands and the affected area before and after application. A thin layer of medication must be applied and the area where applied should not be covered with occlusive covering.
Please avoid contact with eyes.
Avoid exposure to UV light or strong sunlight.
